The University of Minnesota Threat Assessment Program (UTAP) is dedicated to fostering a safe, secure, and supportive environment for employees, visitors, and all members of our campus communities. Utilizing a multidisciplinary, proactive, and behavior-based approach, UTAP identifies, assesses, and manages potential threats, with a focus on early intervention, risk reduction, and coordinated collaboration with campus partners. Informed by national best practices, the program is committed to safeguarding community well-being while upholding individual rights across the University.
